Forge World New Releases - Deathshroud and Cerberus Heavy Tank Destroyer

Hi everybody!! Just got wind (via Forge World's Facebook page) that Forge World has now released 2 new Horus Heresy units, the Deathshroud and the Cerberus Heavy Tank Destroyer.

The Deathshroud are Scythe Wielding Terminators who are the Death Guard's elite warriors. They are hand picked by the Primarch Mortarian himself. It is said that the Deathshroud are always within 49 Paces of their Primarch.

Rule-wise, the Deathshroud are basically really, really tough close combat Terminators. They have 2 wounds (I think) and are in Terminator Armour; which means they have a 2+ Armour Save and a 5+ Invulnerable save (they're not in Cataphractii Terminator Armour).

In comparison to the Justaerin Terminators, the Deathshroud are a much more viable unit. Justaerin Terminators are just too bloody expensive for the first 3; which unfortunately makes them way overcosted for what they do and you're better off using them as Cataphractii Terminators :'(

But don't let that stop you from using it...

Back to the Deathshroud and their awesomeness. I love the look of them. They fit the look of how I imagined them. They do feel a little bit static, but one can argue they're in a "Heroic Pose".

It's models like these thay make me think I should collect a Death Guard army... After all, I would go to great lengths to have 3 Tactical Squads with 20 Marines (including Apothecary) - What? They are known for relying solely on infantry!!!

Moving onto the next awesome unit; the Cerberus Heavy Tank Destroyer.

Think an Imperial Guard Leman Russ Vanquisher but with a MUCH stronger anti-tank cannon (or rather laser) mounted in a Land Raider Spartan. Or just think a giant sized Laser Rapier Destroyer. It's main cannon is a laser anyway.

I can't say anything else about it besides LASERS!!! It's seriously a Tank Destroyer. You need a Loyalist tank destroyed, this is your baby! Or if you swing the other way, it can destroyer Traitor tanks too ;)
