MechWarrior: Online - Timber Wolf, TBR-C (Any OmniVariant) Build

Well; thanks to the new patch (July 15th, 2014) Clan LRMs have finally had their minimum range removed. That is; they now no longer have minimum range; albeit they do less damage at any range less than 180; but it's better than no damage.

About bloody time I say! This should've been implemented right from the start. But hey, I guess better late then never ay?

I reckon you can probably guess today's build ay?

Warhammer 40K: Eternal Crusade

So I recently signed up for the Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade Founder Pack. Actually I signed up today really! I was originally on the fence about purchasing the Founder's Pack. I mean there are a lot of negatives when I think clearly about it (none of which I'll name; but you can easily guess).

After some tragic life events (post on that when I get the heart); I figured spending $40 to support a game I hope becomes really good; seemed like a pretty good idea. I mean if you have $40 saved on the side for games/models; might as well use it here.

I mean the goodies I get for it are pretty good. I get to reserve the much coveted name of Thaddeus (or in this case Varro Thaddeus). I also get 40,000 Rogue Trader Points (RTP, similar to MechWarrior's MC). I also get Beta access and can reserve a Guild name. Most likely I shall be thinking of some awesome Space Marine Squad name.

Regardless; there's a whole bunch of information about Eternal Crusade. And also I shall reveal my referral code for people to get some extra RTP.

MechWarrior: Online - Timber Wolf, TBR-PRIME (Any OmniVariant) Build

Truth be told; the title should actually read TBR-S (Any OmniVariant) Build rather than PRIME. Mostly because I actually used this build on my TBR-S; I managed to get to Master with this build!

During the grind; I partially fell in love with this build (its got nothing to do with the Anime character I named it off). Ironically it doesn't even have CSRM6s!! Or any SRMs for that matter!!

One can argue that it's kind of a "cheesey" build. And I would agree with thee to a certain degree. But it actually takes quite a bit of skill to use this build. More so than the simple "MetaWolf" of a CGauss and 2 CERPPC! After all; it takes someone with good heat management skills to actually pilot today's build.

MechWarrior: Online - Warhawk, WHK-PRIME (Any OmniVariant) Build

THEORY TUESDAY

I have another Theory build in which I need a gullible guinea pig to test this for me. Truth be told; on paper this thing is a beast with an extremely high Alpha whilst still remaining (relatively) heat neutral. The DPS is also very high. I will admit that it is rather hot, but that can be negated with a Coolshot and/or an Elite-ed Warhawk.
