So for any of you guys who've been keeping an eye on this blog hoping for news; well apologies I've been absent. Fallout 4, Digimon and Pokémon have been consuming all my time. Having way too much fun. As usual with news of a new Pokémon game, I just had to do some digging and find out what information and rumours I can find! In this regard, I found some awesome news relating to Fallout 4 and Dog Power Armour. But that's not the news I wanted to share today. Today I have something slightly greater than Dog Power Armour. It's relating to what you see in Pokémon XY&Z. It's Ash-Greninja related. Hell it's Pokémon Sun & Moon related!
So in all honesty; it's been way too long since I've posted this. To be honest, I've been on and off MWO for the past year. Mostly so I can concentrate on studies, but also I will admit that I've had a bit of a burnout. But I have returned. Vastly; I've noticed the meta has completely changed. I still love to run my old builds; but I do feel, it's time to revamp everything and build new Mechs from ground up. I'm not sure how these new builds will hold up, or function. Some builds might be "meta" compliant; others will just be pure fun. Like my favourite SRMCrow build with SRM30Artemis; cos why not? Regardless; today's build is not about anything other than the return of an ancient legend. Warriors of old whom have not seen the light of day for years. We will return to the day when the Emperor and his Primarchs walked among... wait, sorry wrong game and lore. However the name stands; the Warhammer was released not too long ago. Let's see what Natasha Romanova... wait same name; wrong person... These jokes must get old huh?
The Centurion has always been my favourite Mech. I absolutely loved the Wang with that AC20 and 2 MPL running around at high speeds and just finishing off those who are open and causing considerable amount of damage with they're fresh. However as Mechs are released, the venerable Centurion, well it's fun. But just not as great as it used to be. Regardless, it's a fun Mech to run from time to time.
I absolutely love the Panther. It's actually a really shitty Mech as far as I'm concerned. It's slow. Extremely slow compared to other Light Mechs. And really, just doesn't fit in well. But I absolutely love this thing. Despite that low speed for a Light Mech. It doesn't carry a high Alpha damage. Doesn't have good DPS. But it's amazing what one can pull off in this Mech. It is just so much fun. Truth, I don't run this as a "Light Mech". More like a Medium Mech that just happens to be small and has low Armour.
So generally I'm pretty much a "crap" (crap being a relative term), pilot in terms of anything that is not a Light Mech or super fast. However I just like being harsh on myself... Regardless, the Ebon Jaguar is a fantastic Mech, possibly even OP. Hell I feel it is. It is an amazing Mech and it's almost impossible to do bad in it. However, it can still be easily brought down if you know how. This post today however, is not about how easy it is to kill; but of course, a very good build that I found is extremely successful.
Coming this week is my personal favourite build for the Ebon Jaguar. It's primary feature are the dual CUAC10s. This video shows off the power of the Ebon Jaguar and even with mistakes being made, this Mech can still survive and is still super strong! There is no commentary sadly; still messing around with some of Shadowplay's features and encountering a few bugs.
So I was supposed to be doing a weekly post; but sadly I forgot and have been dealing with life. Vacations are so much fun. So in an attempt to keep the posts up, here's a build for today. The Shadow Cat, a much long awaited Clan Mech has recently been released several days ago. It is actually an extremely good Mech despite the low armour and limited tonnage that one gets to play around with. I personally absolutely love the Shadow Cat. For someone who has now converted to a pure Light Mech pilot (lately it's all I'm good at piloting; I'm literally bad with most other Mech weights these days); the Shadow Cat feels very much like a heavy Light Skirmisher type Mech.
