Warhammer 40K: Eternal Crusade

So I recently signed up for the Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade Founder Pack. Actually I signed up today really! I was originally on the fence about purchasing the Founder's Pack. I mean there are a lot of negatives when I think clearly about it (none of which I'll name; but you can easily guess).

After some tragic life events (post on that when I get the heart); I figured spending $40 to support a game I hope becomes really good; seemed like a pretty good idea. I mean if you have $40 saved on the side for games/models; might as well use it here.

I mean the goodies I get for it are pretty good. I get to reserve the much coveted name of Thaddeus (or in this case Varro Thaddeus). I also get 40,000 Rogue Trader Points (RTP, similar to MechWarrior's MC). I also get Beta access and can reserve a Guild name. Most likely I shall be thinking of some awesome Space Marine Squad name.

Regardless; there's a whole bunch of information about Eternal Crusade. And also I shall reveal my referral code for people to get some extra RTP.

Referral Code: EC-ECXF9WUB66N1Z
Note: If you wind up using my referral code when creating an account; please comment here that you are using my referral code.

Now most importantly; the game's payment model. Eternal Crusade supports PayPal as a payment option. Additionally; the game can be called a  collection of game/business models. There is a Free to Play model (known as "Free to Waaagh!!!"); in which, you guessed it; you can play as Orks. It is the dev's way of recreating the Waaagh!!! If you buy the game; the other factions are open for the player (i.e. Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines and Space Pansies Eldar).

There is no subscription model; in that it is not like WoW where you have to subscribe in order to play. There is however a subscription similar to that of TERA. You can basically subscribe per month for some extra bonuses.

The game is predominately PvP; however there is a PvE section where it's basically a Dungeon and Horde mode. So far; from what I've gathered; the game is basically a Warhammer 40K version of Planetside 2 with a lot of deviation.

Here are some good videos that provide some more information; and might push you over too.

I reckon; if you're remotely interested in the game. A good idea is to just buy the $40 Founder's Pack. Think of it as a Kickstarter; or throwing some support their way.
