MechWarrior: Online - Atlas (AS7-S) Build

So the freebie Atlas has been out for just over a week now! And it's high time I present to you guys a build that's been working really well. One might think it's not as powerful as some other dedicated builds. But this build works really well, and works well in a PUG environment.

However, I will say I've ran this build with my ACES buddies and we decided to do a triple Atlas group; so it was me in my AS7-S and them in their 2 D-DC's respectively. It still worked very well.

Check it out right meow!

AS7-S "The Gentleman" (STD340, 1x AC20, 2x LL & 4x SRM4)

Smurfy MechLab: [Link]

Role: Assault

Speed: 55.1 kph
Firepower: 72.40
Armour: 576
Cost: N/A

Weapon Groups
Primary Weapon Group: AC20 and all 4 SRM4s
Secondary Weapon Group: Both Large Lasers
Tertiary Weapon Group:
AC20
Quaternary Weapon Group: All 4 SRM4s (Chain Fire)

The way I run this build, is literally group the AC20 and all the SRM4s together; 1 click and BOOM massive Alpha damage to whatever has the unfortunality of being within my line of sight and fire. The Cooldown is also quite similar, so it sorta works out. Doesn't matter if they're different really, I still fire all of them together and watch armour and enemies disappear.

The Large Lasers can be switched for ER Large Lasers, but the added heat is really unnecessary. The Large Lasers are only there for when you have to cross open ground to get within 270m. If you use all weapons at the same time; yes it hits real hard, but you risk shutting down, and shutting down in front of any Mech or a group of Mechs... Dumbest idea in the world!

Here's something for added effect. Come next week (4th November); all Inner Sphere Mechs are getting their quirks. At according to Russ the Atlas AS7-S has the following quirks:
Atlas AS7-S - Tier 3 Brawler

Additional Structure (RT&LT) +11
AC/20 Velocity +7.5%
Ballistic Weapon Velocity +7.5%
SRM/4 Cooldown +7.5%
Missile Weapon Cooldown +7.5%
Laser Duration -10%
I think the AC20 and SRM4 combo is very appropriate!
