MechWarrior: Online - Shadow Hawk SHD-2K Build

With Community Warfare (hopefully being) implemented soonTM; it's time to start practicing and going back to the old Inner Sphere Mechs. And they are in truly need of an overhaul. Clan Mechs are powerful; but far from OP. However IS pilots will need to change their tactics (which many are loath to do so).

In truth; I have more fun piloting my Clan Mechs more than any other Mech. I mean after all; all my favourite Mechs are Clan Mechs and late era Mechs - Fafnir anyone?

Check it out right meow!

This Shadow Hawk build can match the Stormcrow for speed; and goes one better in maneuverability thanks to it's 5 Jump Jets. Admittedly you can reduce the Jump Jets to 2 or even 1; however I find that thanks the the Jump Jet nerf; having just 1 or 2 Jump Jets is actually a waste of tonnage as neither can barely lift you off the ground to acceptable levels. It's literally you go all or none for Jump Jets.

With the 3 ER Large Lasers; you can "snipe" and still be able to brawl if need be. It's like the ERLL Raven 3L; but in a Shadow Hawk. However I recommend NOT Alpha-ing every chance you get. Alpha once or twice if you have the heat to spare; but make sure you don't get caught when you're reaching the 80% heat. If you shut down; you are dead. As a medium Mech you don't have the armour to compensate for being shut down in a brawl/firefight.
